EVENT INFORMATION
LODGING: our host hotel is the Inn of Lancaster, located at 44131 Sierra Highway, Lancaster, CA 93534 (www.innoflancaster.com). For reservations, call (800) 406-0466. Please state that you are with Speed Ventures to get a discount!
The day will run smoothest for you if you show up at the track by 6:55am. Check-in will begin at 7:00am and end at 7:45am. Our drivers meeting will start at 7:50. (RED Group drivers occasionally have a mandatory meeting at 7:40am). This meeting is MANDATORY for all drivers unless you have received prior clearance to miss it. Cars go on track at 8:30. PLEASE SHOW UP AT REGISTRATION BY 7:15am if you do not want to potentially miss your first run session of the day.
Willow Springs Motorsports Park is located at 3500 75th Street West in Rosamond, CA. Take the Rosamond Blvd exit from the 14 freeway and proceed six miles west until you reach the track entrance. We will be entering through the second (main) gate you reach coming from the 14 freeway. Please note that there is a $10/person gate fee charged by the track for all entrants (including spectators).
The EVENT SCHEDULE is often not established until days before the event, therefore it is not included here. You will receive the schedule in your envelope at registration when you arrive in the morning.
FOOD & DRINK: Speed Ventures provides a water dispenser with which you can refill your water bottle, canteen, cup, or other container. Please bring something to the track to drink with. The snack bar will be open for breakfast and lunch.
Car Numbers: You must have car numbers, at least 8" tall, located on both sides and either the front or back of your vehicle. This is mandatory for all drivers. You can make up a 3-digit number - we will notify you if it is in use by another driver at the track.
TOW HOOKS are mandatory. It is your responsibility to make sure you have a tow hook or some tow point we can use to tow you off track. We are not responsible to damage done when attempting to pull you off track.
The tech form is a must-have at the event. Please read it carefully to make sure you are complying with all Speed Ventures safety guidelines. If you show up and are not within these guidelines you may not be allowed to run and may not receive a refund or credit.
