NOTE: We may run the Balcony at this event if we get enough participants. The additonal charge is $40. The Balcony is a small oval track/skidpad, great for practicing car control! Be sure to add it to your sign up if you want to participate. You can also sign up for the Balcony only ($70).
GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION:
Willow Springs Motorsports Park is located at 3500 75th Street West in Rosamond, CA. Take the Rosamond Blvd exit from the 14 freeway and proceed six miles west until you reach the track entrance. We will be entering through the second (main) gate you reach coming from the 14 freeway. Please note that there is a $10/person gate fee charged by the track for all entrants (including spectators).
LODGING: our host hotel is the Inn of Lancaster, located at 44131 Sierra Highway, Lancaster, CA 93534 (www.innoflancaster.com). For reservations, call (800) 406-0466. Please state that you are with Speed Ventures to get a discount!
The day will run smoothest for you if you show up at the track by 6:55am. Check-in will begin at 7:00am and end at 7:45am. Our drivers meeting will start at 7:50. This meeting is MANDATORY for all drivers unless you have received prior clearance to miss it. Cars go on track at 8:30. PLEASE SHOW UP AT REGISTRATION BY 7:30am if you do not want to potentially miss your first run session of the day.
The EVENT SCHEDULE is often not established until days before the event, therefore it is not included here. You will receive the schedule in your envelope at registration when you arrive in the morning. |
