| Event Info |
This full course ROVAL event is a shared event with Porsche Owners Club, so we only have 1 run group each day, with 4 x 25min. sessions each day. This run group is open to Intermediate and Advanced drivers only, and will be run as an Advanced Intermediate group. The sessions will be open passing on the front straight and banking of the superspeedway, and point-by elsewhere.
PLEASE NOTE*** Speed Ventures will not be providing lunch at this event. There will be concession stands open on site, and there are a number of fast food choices within a short driving distance. This applies to this event only and you can expect Speed Ventures to be up to our usual gourmet standards for lunch at your next event!
Garages: we do not have any garages at this event. We will be meeting up in the Motor Coach parking lot. This is the lot just to the left (North) of the lot with the garages.
Please show up at the track by 7am and go straight to the Motor Coach Lot. Please check in BEFORE unloading or working on your car. Check-in will close at 7:50 and the POC Drivers' Meeting will begin at 8am. The POC drivers meeting will be held in the drivers lounge and is mandatory for all drivers. Speed Ventures will hold its drivers meeting at 8:45am.
Although we expect to have a PA system in the garage, it is often difficult to hear from different areas of the paddock, therefore, it is crucial that you pay attention to the schedule and the clock. We will do our best to make announcements, but you are ultimately responsible for wrapping up your conversations with fellow drivers and getting ready to go on track 10 minutes prior to your session following the published schedule. The schedule will be included in the envelope you receive at registration.
GASOLINE: Make sure you show up with enough gas to run your first session at least! POC will accept cash only at the gas pumps.
If you want to unload the day before your track day, you may do so between 3pm and 8pm.
Car Numbers: You must have car numbers, at least 8" tall, located on both sides and either the front or back of your vehicle. This is mandatory for all drivers. You can make up a 3-digit number - we will notify you if it is in use by another driver at the track.
Tow hooks are mandatory. If you do not have a tow hook on your car, it is your responsibility to figure out a tow point we can use to tow you in. We are not responsible for any damage done to your car during towing.
